Oooh Ahhh Push It...

Duh Duh Duhhhhhhhhhh

If anyone is like me then the idea of exercise fills you with dread and voices in your head saying "nooooooo I can't be bothered, you don't need to do anything!".

I have actually found something I love to do! Zumba!

If anyone else, like me, hates doing exercise in front of people and looking like an idiot, then I have found the perfect thing (well, for me it is)!

In the comfort of my own space I can easily workout without feeling paranoid about people watching me! Unless, your doing it and the postman walks right past the window and sees you doing it... trust me, it's embarrassing!

You can do just single songs, short classes, mid-length classes and full classes!

So far I've been doing 2 short classes at a time to build by fitness up before attempting longer and harder ones.

2 short classes = 37 minutes of exercise annnnnnnnnd I burnt 500 calories!!!

The music is pretty awesome too, has workouts to Pitbull and Nicole Scherzinger :)

Its safe to say, i'll miss doing Zumba when I go back to Uni as I don't have a Wii at Uni and the disc is actually my sister's!

Big News!!

This week I have lost... 3lbs
Which means that since doing Weight Watchers and Zumba for 2 weeks I have lost in total... HALF A STONE!!!!

Woooooooooooo

A new resolution or a new beginning?

I am a student, aged 21 and for whatever reasons, I have gained a substantial amount of weight over the past 2 and a half years.

I used to be a size 8/10 and am now a size 14.

Before

After

I have had many failed attempts at losing the weight I've gained but haven't yet found a way that keeps me motivated or interested for very long.

My parents have recently booked a villa in Majorca for them, me and my sister and our boyfriends for two weeks in July and I am now so determined to get back to my original weight and have the bikini body that I'd like.

Because of this I've started Weight Watchers. Although not going to the meetings or paying, I've acquired one of their fancy do-everything-for-you calculators.

You input your weight and height and it works out your daily and weekly pro points allowance. It's easy to input the nutritional values from your food and then it works out the points equivalent.

I've been on it a week so far and have lost 4lbs.

So far I'm finding it easy and exciting to find new recipes and foods to make and do.

I'm going to use this blog to document my journey and to see if the Weight Watchers plan can keep me motivated and help me lose weight.

Stay tuned or whatever :)
